It’s always a mess, but this chaos of life can sometimes be beautiful. With her second solo album “Memories that Never Were”, dreaming plushie deals with pent up feelings of profound loneliness, yearning for affection, grief, lost love, unrequited crushes. “Memories that Never Were” is about depression, transitioning, changing, maturing. Being older than before, yet feeling younger than ever, like a teenage girl lost in a world that is almost completely new to her, even hostile towards her. Grieving the memories that never were. Wanting to experience the lost girlhood as someone who started her transition at 26.But it’s also about sharing happiness and support in the time of need, and of course: friendship. On some level this is a deeply personal record.

These are 11 songs that are heavily inspired by hardcore, trans twitter breakcore scene and trans twitter music scene in general. Songs to dance to and to cry to. Songs to experience whatever you want to experience while listening to them.
